Florida Birds & Wildlife - Guided Photo Tour

This tour is timed to coincide with the peak of the breeding season in Florida. That means many of the awesome birds we’ll see and photograph will be displaying their best and most colorful plumage. If our group gets lucky we’ll also witness and capture feeding frenzies of Osprey, Cormorants, Anhingas, various Terns and other birds diving for fish after fish or carrying fish back to nests. While we’ll certainly concentrate on birds and Bird In Flight (BIF) photography, we won’t pass up other opportunities we come across such as giant Alligators, lizards, mammals and of course, sunrises and sunsets. Birds & Wildlife of Belize - Guided Photo Tour

The official language is English, and for visitors looking for an easy tropical getaway with tons of wildlife, Belize simply cannot be beat. On this guided photo tour we’ll see and photograph a HUGE variety of birds as well as reptiles, amphibians and mammals as those opportunities arise. At the wonderful eco-lodges where we stay, the local guides are passionate about getting us as many wildlife sightings as possible. Belize is an excellent place to do wildlife photography. Nesting Quetzals of Costa Rica - Photo Tour
April 23 – May 4, 2028
Resplendent Quetzals are cavity nesting birds. Once a nesting cavity is discovered, photographers can easily photograph (from a respectful distance) both parents as they bring food to the chicks. Imagine the flight shot opportunities of this awesome bird we’ll have! While Quetzals busy rearing chicks will be the main focus of this tour, we’ll have lots and lots of chances to photograph the bird diversity of Costa Rica at 3 eco-lodges that have set-ups specifically for bird photographers. In those places we’ll see a variety of hummingbirds, other Trogon species, Toucans and Toucanets, Tanagers, Barbets and maybe (if lucky) a Thee-wattled Bellbird.
